Who is Elkmon?

Hello, my name is Elkmon, but I often shorten it to just Elk. I'm a person with many asperations and goals, probably too many. I go by she/her pronouns. I like a lot of things, such as retro games, model kits, old digital cameras, ect. I'm pretty shy in person, and I absolutley suck at interaction with new people.

Why did I make this site?

I've always felt restricted with customization on many social platforms, I never truley felt like I was able to express myself how I wanted. So, I got into HTML and started learning to code around early 2020. since then I've greatly improved my coding skills, although it's still very rough around the edges. I've been off an on with this project, just from the top of my memory, I belive this is my 7th iteration. This site is still a work in progress, so expect some changes over the course of time.

What do I have on my site?

I'm an artist who mainly draws anthro animals, or furries as some people call them. I have 4 years of drawing experience under my belt and consider myself an amature. Most of my works are posted on the Gallery page, so go check that out if you want. I have various collections of toys, figures, and games. those are on the Collections page. Along side those, I have free to use assets made by me for you to use on your websites, all of those are listed on the Web Assets page. I urge you to do your own exploring by yourself, have fun!

So, what exactly do you do?

Well, a lot to be straightfolward. I mostly draw but coding and music are 2 things I enjoy aswell. I've also been delving into romhacks and making my own, including similar things like DOOM wads and Half-Life Mapping. I hope to make a couple of my own games too, nothing too big to where I can't finish it, more like a short experience. I've also been working on a story for the past couple of years. I'm not a writer by any means so there's a lot of things to be worked out but that doesn't stop me.

Any stories from your personal life?

One time this kid in middle school peed inside a hole in the wall, the bathroom smelled like shit for the next month.

Anything else we should know?

Not really, I'd say I'm a pretty boring person myself, I try to do as much as I can in life and make the things I enjoy.
